The NIL era of collegiate athletics began on July 1, 2021. With major brands being extremely skeptical of how a collegiate athlete could impact their reach, Velveeta took a chance on LSU Kicker, Cade York. Negotiating with Velveeta/Heinz and concepting with several agencies like Publicis, we had been able to not only travel Cade to a shoot but do so after a game and with a 16 hour turnaround. We then proceeded to launch and receive 1MM views in our first week on Twitter alone.

The campaign did so well, we even partnered with the largest bar in Baton Rouge, Fred’s, to support Cade and bring a local flavor to a national spot.
